We are a grassroots music promoter, dedicated to bringing together local bands and providing the best live experience for musicians and fans alike. Founded by musicians and underground music fans, our aim is to support and grow the local music scene, create unforgettable live shows for everyone involved, and above all, have a fucking blast doing it.

Being in a band is fun, but can be a royal pain in the ass. Most of us musicians will never make a penny, and never get beyond performances in dingy pubs with boot-sale backlines. So we understand the importance and value of getting the opportunity to perform at a top tier venue, with amazing sound, and surrounded by good people. Our goal is to create an event where local talent can showcase what they can do, give them the chance to connect with other bands and build a music community.

HighHorse live music is Inspired by the raw, unfiltered energy of the early '90s, we want to recreate that nostalgic vibe where live music feels subversive and authentic. Our shows are designed to be memorable, personal and addictive. We sweat the small stuff, we'd rather be poor than put on a shit show.

We're excited to promote our local talent. We are predominantly grunge, stoner/ doom and psych fans, but we aren't gate-keepers. We'll showcase any musicians who deserve showcasing. So you'll see a huge range of music at our nights, from country to alt and metal; it might be a bands first gig, or 1000th, we don't care, so long as they're good people making good music.

We look forward to bring bigger bands into our lineups, bridging the gap between local acts and well-known artists and create opportunities for local musicians to reach bigger audiences.
